High School Checklist

The checklist provides an informative overview of the school year as well as a guide for meeting important deadlines.

• Mail application with qualified, approved non-relative tester’s name and address and non-refundable application fee to The Academy of Home Education, 1700 Wade Hampton Blvd. Greenville, SC 29614.
• AHE office will order and send testing materials to tester to be administered and returned to BJ Testing and Evaluation.
• Test results are returned to parent along with invoice for annual non-refundable administrative fee.
• Mail the administrative fee to the AHE office.
• Upon payment of the administrative fee a portfolio of information will be mailed to you. If you desire to teach an elective subject (including P.E.), you must request approval prior to the start of each semester by mailing in the completed Elective and Transfer Reporting Form.
• Obtain BJU Press curriculum materials for all required subjects.
• Follow the School Calendar as closely as possible. Keep an attendance record. A 180-day enrollment period is required for the units of credit to be valid.
• Keep weekly grades for each subject on the Semester Grade Reporting Form.
• At the end of each semester, mail in the completed Semester Grade Reporting Form. Your report card will be issued if the yearly administrative fee has been paid in full.
• Mail in the spring achievement testing order form to the AHE office. This form is included in your portfolio. Your testing materials will be mailed to your qualified tester. Testing should be scheduled for mid-March.
• Achievement test results will be mailed to you following scoring.
• Complete and return the Re-enrollment Form along with the yearly administrative fee for the new school year.
• Receive student’s second-semester report card when all grades have been submitted for the year.
