The Academy of Home Education

Homeschooling provides parents with the opportunity to instruct their children academically and spiritually, equipping them to have a positive impact on our world. But homeschooling carries with it a responsibility to record grades accurately, track academic progress, and ultimately be prepared to provide a diploma and high school transcript.

The Academy of Home Education provides homeschool students with the academic validation they need while allowing parents the freedom to educate their children at home. The AHE offers a structured curricular program, as well as academic advising and counseling. We also keep records of your student’s course work. When a student successfully completes his high school academics, The Academy of Home Education awards a high school diploma from a recognized institution. We will also provide a high school transcript to assist with the college application process.

But that’s not all. There’s also the Inscriptions writing club for grades five through twelve, a quarterly newsletter, the AHE Class Directory for our high school students, the high school Fine Arts Festival and summer camps, and the Junior Class trip—just to name a few of the ways we connect our Academy students with each other. And every year we host the AHE Family Camp and Graduation Event. AHE students will participate in various fun times while parents enjoy homeschooling workshops, question-and-answer panels, and tours of the BJ LINC and BJ HomeSat facilities. In addition, everyone can attend the AHE graduation as a culmination of this exciting week.

Perhaps best of all, through AHE your senior will be able to participate in a formal graduation ceremony. Before the actual event, held on the campus of Bob Jones University, AHE seniors and their families are invited to celebrate their academic success during two days of special activities with their classmates. Don’t let your student miss these unforgettable experiences.

AHE is recognized by the South Carolina Department of Education as an approved homeschool association in compliance with SC homeschool statutes.
